The Waitaki District lies in North Otago, in the South Island of New Zealand. The district incorporates the Ahuriri/Corriedale and Waihemo wards. The district reaches inland from the Waitaki River mouth, up the Waitaki River Valley, through Ohau to the top of the Ahuriri River Valley. It extends south down the east coast beyond Palmerston to Flag Swamp.
As part of the preparation of an Otago-wide Digital Strategy, Waitaki residents and businesses are being invited to explain their future internet, digital skills and service needs to help make the District a great place to live, work and play.
