CHRISTCHURCH

This year, Christchurch is proud to host the 20th anniversary of the Project Management Institute of New Zealand (PMINZ) Conference. The national conference looks to showcase project management with New Zealand, provide opportunities to explore and challenge current thinking and gives the chance to network with likeminded professionals both nationally and internationally. This year’s conference theme is 'soaring to new heights', reflecting not only Christchurch's continuing emergence from the rubble, but also the attitudes and actions of its people.

While providing a stellar host of speakers and classes, the conference also aims to recognise and celebrate project management excellence within New Zealand. The awards dinner, held on the 4

th of September, helps to enhance both the prestige and the credibility of its recipients, and the project management profession. This year the award nominations have been outstanding, with record numbers submitted in most categories.
