New partnership expands Wella’s business education program, offering unique, holistic and proven training and education for salons to thrive.
Adil Mehboob-Khan, president of Wella, the Salon Professional Division of Procter & Gamble, has today named Kiwi salon industry veteran and successful business educator Paul Serville as Wella’s Global Business Ambassador.

Wella announced this important milestone on the eve of its largest global event, Wella TrendVision, to underline the importance for stylists and salon owners to grow both their creative and business skills, especially in today’s competitive market.

“At Wella, we want our salon partners to thrive, not just survive, both as entrepreneurs and as artists. In that, Paul is an incredible inspiration and ambassador because he knows firsthand the challenges for salon owners and has real, proven solutions to share,” said Adil Mehboob-Khan.

With 45 years’ experience in the industry as a creative artist and a successful salon owner, Paul’s focus over the last several years has been on the “business” of hairdressing.  After turning around his own business, the New Zealander committed to share his journey, but more importantly the actual systems and solutions that he is still using every day.  Today, Paul boasts 87 industry awards, successfully operates five world class salons and one academy, and together with his team, educates salon professionals all around the world.

“At Wella, we offer a variety of tools to help our salon partners grow and are proud to partner locally with some of the industry’s top business educators,” said Michelle Mason, Vice President, Wella Global Education. “What I see in this exciting global partnership with Paul is a new opportunity to be even more comprehensive, more coordinated and game-changing in our total approach. This is a great additional step for our customers to accelerate profitable growth for personal and financial success.”

As Wella’s Global Business Ambassador, Paul shared his experiences and successful approach with audiences worldwide with a keynote speech at Wella’s TrendVision event in Monaco.

“I’m thrilled to work with Wella because we share the same vision,” said Paul Serville.” We both want to help stylists and salon owners understand how to grow their businesses for a lifetime of success in this amazing industry.”
