New Škoda Fabia Scoops First Awards Of 2015

The new ŠKODA Fabia has been named Car of the Year 2015 in the UK by the prestigious What Car? magazine.  Not only this model, but also the Octavia has already won an array of awards after being named Best Family Car by the same magazine and Best Compact Car in Germany by Auto Motor und Sport.

The prestigious What Car? Car of the Year Award for the Fabia represents the second time this car has scooped the award, having done so with the first generation Fabia back in 2000. Since its launch, 3.5 million Fabias have been sold worldwide. The Fabia was also named as Best Small Car by What Car? magazine this year, while its bigger brother, the Octavia, won as Best Family Car.

The new Fabia introduces innovative safety, comfort and infotainment systems to its market segment. It is also more spacious, stronger and more efficient than its predecessor, thanks both to significant weight-saving and the introduction of cleaner EU6-compliant engines that help to make it up to 17% more efficient.
