As part of their suite of services, Gaze Interior Design advise on developing a property strategy to fit the purpose of their client’s business, evaluating purchase vs. lease and refurbishments vs. new builds. They also advise on the costs to shift or upgrade an office and the space requirements that will be needed and how to best optimise the space. Gaze look for location options to best suit their client’s target market, staff and budget and advise on the office layout options to best suit the needs of their business and workforce.

Gaze also have a design team who can create a space for their client, involving a collaborative design development, ensuring their office design is functional, for now and in the future, integrating their brand image, identity, culture and values into the work space. The ground-breaking team at Gaze are very aware of the importance of environmental awareness and are proponents of creating a more sustainable future with ergonomic work spaces to keep staff happy and healthy.

To this end, below is a small example of some refurbishments they have undertaken with their respective clients, starting with the new Italian eatery in O’Connell Street. The key objective for this project was to provide the required services to suit Council requirements for a commercial kitchen with a gas fired pizza oven and many plumbing and ventilation consequences. A high-quality/cost effective refurbishment of the front of house dining area and exposed front of house kitchen were also required where attention to detail regarding the more practical elements of a commercial kitchen were paramount. The client requested a warm environment where the real feature was the large pizza oven and the Gaze team accomplished this with a professional and workable commercial fit out.

James & Wells, Lawyers and Patent Attorneys,   commissioned Gaze to carry out relocation of their premises to Carlton Gore Road. The key objective was to create a collaborative working environment that provided for their business growth and profile, which the creative team at Gaze Interiors have accomplished this, much to their client’s satisfaction with an interior fit out to suit the James & Wells team’s ideals.

Kordia, New Zealand's only major telecommunications provider, required an innovative, communicative and collaborative working environment for their staff, so they went from a traditional multi floored tenancy to a single floor plate. To achieve this, Gaze provided a combination of predominately open planned work and meeting spaces. Gaze provided design plus project, with their very stylish commercial interior design, and cost management to Kordia for their office relocation, making for a very happy client.
