Arrest in Grey Lynn

A 29-year-old man who was at the Grey Lynn address where the Auckland City Organised Crime Unit and Armed Offenders Squad executed a search warrant this morning was arrested.

He has been bailed by Police and will appear in the Auckland District Court next week charged with possession of cannabis for supply. Police recovered an air rifle from the property.

Residents of the Castle St address were offered shelter and warmth in Police vehicles while their home was searched but declined the offers.

Police are still appealing for information about the whereabouts of wanted 32 year-old man Daniel Vae who has connections to the Castle St address.
