BREAKING NEWS: LATEST 12:16AM: Dribble NZ News confirms a blaze at New Plymouth Girls High School.

New Plymouth Girls High School in Taranaki is tonight causing fire fighters to fight a blaze following a fuse exploding in the New Plymouth Girls High drama suite. 

Over social networking Facebook students of New Plymouth schools have been making recents status's one even heard police talking about the fire on the intercom over a radio.

At around about 11pm Dribble NZ News found the first reports to us of a fire at New Plymouth Girls High School, since these reports we can now confirm there is a fire at New Plymouth Girls High School.

Emergency services are at the scene and rushed to the school in a hurry, "you could tell they were trying to get somewhere fast" a resident said to Dribble NZ while driving down New Plymouth's one way.

Just confirming a fire has caused firefighters to fight a blaze at New Plymouth's Girls High School tonight following reports of a fire in the drama room at around 11pm.
