NZ Police Comms Alert, Waitemata - Sexual Violation
Henderson Police are investigating the rape and abduction of a 28 year old female in Glen Eden.
Police say that at about 3.00 am on Sunday the 22 April 2007, a male Polynesian approached a vehicle the female was sleeping in on Woodglen Road, Glen Eden.
The male produced a knife and then got into the victims vehicle. He drove the victim to a nearby Rugby league club and raped her.
Henderson Police are interested in speaking with any person that saw a blue Toyota Estima registration ALA629 being driven around the Glen Eden and Titirangi area in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The male offender has been described as Polynesian, under 25 years old with a number 1 haircut. He is around 5 ft 8 tall, of average build and clean shaven. He was wearing a brown hoody jacket with white patches on the front, green camouflage pants to his knees, white ankle socks with blue jandals.
Of note is the male had a large eye shaped tattoo with tribal pattern on the outside of his left thigh.
It is believed this male was loitering in the Woodglen Road area for some time before the attack.
