LATEST: On the 15th of January infonews.co.nz posted a report on a pack of avacado's that were purchased from Pakn Save in New Plymouth, the avacados had mold and some type of while fungi 'like spiderwebs', infonews.co.nz can now update the story...

14th January: Michael Riley told infonews.co.nz of the complete 'horror' as he opened a looking fine avacado but on the inside was just 'incredible'.

"I brought a 5 pack of avacados from Pakn' Save and all of them were brown inside and some even had white mold or some type of fungis"

He said he is outraged by the look of them and I feel for anyone who would actually eat an avacado from there, he has told infonews.co.nz "I will never shop there, ever again" He said this is complete madness.

Pakn Save New Plymouth were alerted by Michael on the 15th about the avacado's, all of which were taken off stock after staff reviewed the complaint.

They then edited the post to make it so it was hidden from the wall on the Facebook page.

Michael has alerted the Taranaki Daily News, a local newspaper company for the Taranaki region who is in the process of creating a report.

"The company has messeged me and they are in the process of creating a news report"

This is gross, and needs to be off the market until fresh stock comes in Michael has told Info News on the 15th.

"Yes Pakn' Save might be cheap but being cheap doesnt mean pulling your standards down, especially to this level"

Infonews will update you on the story as the Taranaki Daily News publish there investigations.
