Some people build businesses for a living, I created Quality Kidz to turn my vision into a vocation for life… Hello, my name is Carol Stovold, welcome to my life’s work!

Our precious “little ones” need extra care and attention when placed in Childcare. When I started on this journey I decided I was going to create something more than a business, I wanted a business where everyone truly cares… a vehicle that would enable me to share my deep knowledge and passion … where we believe that each child is entitled to an individual learning programme ... where we could actively prepare children for the “bigger, wider” world; ultimately providing Childcare for children that unlocks their love of lifelong learning.

But it was more than this I also wanted to empower others, many of them mums just like me, to also start up their own businesses and through support and resourcing assist them to gain qualifications. Today, I can confidently say, what we have transcends your normal basic Childcare it also offers Mums/Dads/Nanas the opportunity to develop their own childcare services at home.

At Quality Kidz we understand happiness; it’s the emotion that opens the gateway to success both socially and intellectually. Because we have been providing our home-based services to Bay of Plenty families for nearly two decades, we know we provide a safe, caring and nurturing environment that supports your child with the freedom to grow…and thrive. Like you, we want to empower your child to develop his/her own unique self. As president of the New Zealand Homebased Association and a member of the Ministers Forum on raising educational achievement, I know that the formula that we have created at Quality Kidz does just that!

With more research showing that “small group care” fosters self esteem, cooperative and even confident behaviour’s it is no surprise that our dear little ones are settling immediately in our environments. At Quality Kidz we recognise that adjusting to life outside of the home and Mum (or Dad) is a big challenge. This is why we provide the perfect transition between home and school life for your child.
Quality Kidz is simply what our name says…we help our parents raise “Quality Kids”. Admittedly, it is something that isn’t as simple as it sounds, however our dedication and passion drives us to achieve –just that!
