Terraces Apartments Targeting Sporting Groups For Accommodation At Mount Maunganui

The Terraces Apartments At Ocean Beach, Mount Maunganui, is looking to attract more sporting groups and organisations to stay in 2013.

The luxurious and affordable apartment-style accommodation is perfectly situated right across the road from the Mount Maunganui beach. The three-level apartments are fully self-contained with balconies and car-parking and provide idyllic views of the ocean and surrounding areas

The Terraces are available as 1, 2 or 3 bedroom apartments and are avaialble for up to six people to stay.

"We are ideal for providing short and long term stays for sporting groups and organisations and the apartments are very spacious and quiet," says co-manager Trish Roberts.

"Our prices are very competitive especially when you consider the number of people who are able to be accommodated in these three-level apartments," she said.

The Terraces apartments are handy to the Bayfair Shopping Complex and Bay Wave swimming complex and are a 10 minute drive to the Tauranga city shopping and the CBD.

There are two golf courses (Mt Maunganui and Omanu) within 4km of the Terraces complex while Baypark Stadium is only 1.5km away.

Trish and her husband, Maurie, have been managers at the Terraces At Ocean Beach for the past eight years after having had their first experience of being in charge of a motel some 30 years ago.

"We enjoy the life-style at an apartment complex such as this and the location at Mount Maunganui is simply outstanding," she says.

Trish and Maurie pride themselves on providing quality customer service and ensuring their guests' needs are well catered for.

Besides sporting groups and organisations, the other target groups for The Terraces at Ocean Beach this year will be overseas visitors and domestic holiday-makers.
