Since being taken over by Gray Thompson and Jo Bransgrove in December of 2012, the Gables Lakefront Motel has been beautifully refurbished.

Many of the rooms have a view of stunning Lake Taupo and on a clear day the magnificent National Park Mountains. 

Jo Bransgrove comes from a varied and prestigious background. She is a former member and president of the Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce, president of the Employers Chamber of Commerce Central and councillor for Business New Zealand.

Gray Thompson is a lawyer specialising in property for the well known boutique Commercial Property law firm, Thompson Vodanovich. Gray does his legal work from Gables and travels to Wellington every fortnight.
