Argent Motor Lodge Friends With Ronald McDonald House

Argent Motor Lodge in Hamilton are honoured to announce that they have become Friends with Ronald McDonald House in a bid to helping to achieve their goals.

“Our whole family are really proud to call ourselves ‘Friends’ of Ronald McDonald House,” says Clare Gallagher of Argent Motor Lodge, Hamilton.

Ronald McDonald House provides a home-away-from-home for families of hospitalised children so they can stay close to them at no cost. “All New Zealanders are just so lucky to have a facility like Ronald McDonald House available to them.  They are an amazing organization that just simply does everything,” says Clare.

Clare and Richard Gallagher have both experienced the amazing services that Ronald McDonald House provide first hand. “We wish that we did not know how wonderful they were.  But we do - our nephew Joshua is there now, fighting child cancer,” says Clare.
“Ronald McDonald House has been there, supporting their family in this very difficult time.
“Without the support of Ronald McDonald House and its cavalry of volunteers the lives of our loved ones would be just so much harder than it already is right now, Joshua is only four and that makes it all that much harder,” says Clare.

“They work so hard to keep the family unit together whilst maintaining a supportive environment for both the immediate and extended family of those that they have in house,” says Clare

Ronald McDonald House relies on the generosity and support from the community to operate its programmes and to help it achieve its goal in helping New Zealand’s children and their families.  In becoming a Friend of Ronald McDonald House Argent Motor Lodge are helping Ronald McDonald House and its charities to achieve its goals.

Ronald McDonald House comes into people’s lives when they need help the most “They do everything possible to make the lives of families who are having the worst possible time just a little bit better,” says Clare.
