Keith Kerr of Auckland-based Financial Solutionz has been in the financial services industry since 1989 and has a wealth of experience to share with his clients.
Through the years Keith has built up a large and loyal client base and is now helping children of his original clients. “I have a ‘client for life’ philosophy. This means that I want to earn your long term business and that of your friends and family,” says Keith Kerr.

From the age of 18 to 24 he became a qualified Aeronautical Engineer in the Air Force. “This discipline learned in the Armed Forces certainly helps me with the day to day tasks needed to give my clients great service,” says Keith.
Keith added home loans to his existing Insurance practice in 1996. “I was also one of the six people to start New Zealand home loans in 1996 helping to establish the Auckland franchise area. We grew this to being the largest franchise in the organisation and helped hundreds of families to move towards their financial independence by starting them on the right financial path in a risk free way,” says Keith.
Keith’s company, Financial Solutionz Ltd, is also aligned with the Loanmarket and the Insurance market.
Keith now has over 1200 satisfied and happy clients. “I believe I can bring a wide experience and knowledge of different situations and help my clients to put in place a plan that will not only suit their current needs but should be able to be modified and changed on both the home loan and risk management side,” says Keith.
Keith also has a wealth of experience in risk management to give you piece of mind. “As a professional and accomplished risk management financial adviser specialising in business risk management, I also work with professionals and business owners to handle the risks that can derail their future plans,” says Keith.
Being a business owner of a successful practice, Keith understands the need for entrepreneurial professionals to be free to focus on the growth requirements to create their own great businesses. “I take the big risks out of the equation for clients – often risks that the owners haven’t even seen yet – so that they have the best chance of achieving their own business and personal success,” says Keith

That process includes Conducting a Business Risk Assessment, providing a report explaining the business risks, assessing and estimate the financial risk, helping clients understand what is risk management, explaining different types of business insurance to clients,getting any necessary business insurance quote and insuring the right money goes to the right place at the right time.
Keith is a registered financial adviser (RFA) and has no financial ties or interests with any insurance company or bank. However he has business insurance agencies with New Zealand’s leading insurance companies. “So I can look after and advise clients on their existing risk management policies and structures, and then provide a strategic risk management analysis, and objective specialist advice,” says Keith.
Areas of specialist expertise include business interruption strategies, keyperson coverage, shareholder protection, business debt management, disability and income protection, partnership risk management, succession funding and structure and group employment benefit programs.
