New Cambridge flower business Petal Passion got right behind the Pink Ribbon breast cancer breakfast event in Cambridge on Sunday.

Petal Passion’s Sharyn Mead donated a lovely bouquet of flowers to 65-year-old breast cancer survivor Marie Jenkins.

“It was lovely to do that for Marie and to recognise the significance of the event,” Sharyn says.

Petal Passion was set up by Sharyn Mead to specialise in selling flowers on line (www.petalpassion.co.nz) to the Waikato and Bay Of Plenty market.

She caters flowers for weddings, events, corporate, mother’s day, bereavement, Christmas and other special occasions.

Sharyn believes her target market is 20 to 45 years of age because of her emphasis in on-line sales.

Sharyn is no stranger to flowers having had 19 years involvement in the industry. She has managed local and overseas flower shops and has completed a small business management course.

She is a fully qualified New Zealand professional senior florist.

“One of our major points of difference is that we do stunning floral designs with a vintage twist and that we really focus online,” she says.

Petal Passion began operations on May 1st, 2013, and already is creating plenty of interest amongst the flower  industry. “I’m very passionate and excited about my new business and welcome inquiries from anyone.”
