The Auckland Welsh Choir presents a varied mid-winter programme: ‘Music for a Winter’s Night’, with songs of snow, stars and winter wind. A new repertoire performed by the full choir will be complimented by outstanding young soloists and include Vivaldi’s Winter Violin Concerto from The Four Seasons.

The choir will be presenting its usual stylistic variety, including songs in English, German and Welsh, with composers ranging through baroque, romantic and twentieth Century – all providing music for the Winter Solstice.

Our Telynogion Chamber Choir is also pleased to introduce new and challenging contemporary choral repertoire for this concert – descriptive programmatic music which delights and is sure to please concert-goers.

Tickets for this concert are limited with the venue, St Barnabas Church in Mt Eden, able to seat approximately 200 people.

All profits from the concert will be donated to St Barnabas Church.
