'Gala day and perfect ending in rugby' gives family the tick to live in New Plymouth

A family of tourists from Brazil's biggest city Sao Paulo have decided they would like to live in New Plymouth after their one week holiday turned into something they want to relive. 

The All Blacks vs France game in New Plymouth ended well with the All Blacks winning the final game out of three and Dazmit of Sao Paulo has told infonews.co.nz "New Plymouth is a wonderful place, diverse, and runned well" he continues "The mountain is beautiful and the nations rugby team is the best worldwide. This place is a mans dream" 

New Plymouth won the Top Town award from North and South Magazine in 2008 judged "the best place in New Zealand to live, love, work and raise a family"

The city also won three awards at the 11th International Awards for Liveable Communities held in Dongguan, China, 6–10 November 2008:

 

  • Whole City Gold award (population category 20,000 – 75,000)
  • Criteria award for Community Sustainability
  • Gold award for community project (natural) – the Coastal Walkway.

 

NEW PLYMOUTH THE PLACE TO BE

"People have told me that there are many delays while travelling in New Plymouth but in my city it will take you over an hour to get down the highway five hundred metres" he said.

"The rugby was great and the people are friendly, even the police"

To finish off their holiday the ended up heading to Spotswood College's gala day which was much to the delight for the family.

"The school was so clean and safe" he continued "Everyone was smiling and laughing. Just phenominal" 

"It was a gala day and a perfect ending in rugby."
