Top New Zealand Commonwealth Games hopeful Camille Buscomb gets major financial boost from Argent Motor Lodge in Hamilton.
Argent Motor Lodge in Hamilton are excited to announce the sponsorship of one of New Zealand’s top female athletes Camille Buscomb.
“Not just as a business but also as a family, we are very excited to be in a position to sponsor someone like Camille. We are impressed with Camille’s dedication and sacrifices she makes to be at the top of her field in athletics,” says Clare Gallagher, co-owner of Argent Motor Lodge in Hamilton.

The sponsorship deal was facilitated by Camille’s promoter Media PA who also promote New Zealand’s premier dance group, J Geeks. “It is great that the sponsorship came together to help one of New Zealand’s most talented young athletes,” says Phillip Quay, Managing Director of Media PA.
From Hamilton, Camille Buscomb is New Zealand’s leading female middle-distance athlete.
She is the champion 3000m title holder in New Zealand and is second currently over 1500 metres. Her major discipline is the 1500m and is ultimately the event in which she would like to excel most in.
Camille has been training full time since July 2011 and is superstar athlete for New Zealand. “I train full time and my goal is to compete in the Commonwealth Games next year and then on to the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in 2016,” Camille said.
However, Camille needs more sponsorship to help her achieve her goals. “I have to qualify for the Commonwealth Games and I’m confident that I can do so,” Camille says.
“I have improved a huge amount with my times over the last few years and it would be wonderful to have more support from the community,” Camille said
Camille has been increasing her training programme every day. She trains at the track, swims and works out regularly at the gym. It is all a part of her complete dedication to achieve her goals.
