New Plymouth bus service costs on the rise

It has been confirmed this morning that New Plymouths bus service City Link is on the ride.

"Lets GO on the bus" an group to get people to go on the bus rather then by car made by the council confirmed the new price changes that will go into effect August 5th of this year.

An adult price from New Plymouth to Waitara costs $6, for a child the new price is $3.60.

CONCESSION GETS 'NOTHING'

infonews.co.nz has been told by angry New Plymouth residents that concession cards don't do much, for a child ticket into New Plymouth that is $2.10 the same price for everyone ussing a consession card.

"Its pretty bad considering" said one resident.

Others have said the price was bound to go up, and City Link was voted infonews.co.nz cheapest bus service nationwide this year.

The new prices still keep it the cheapest just below Wanganui's price.
