"Does not look good" after serious crash in New Plymouth
EXCLUSIVE: Emergency services rushed to the scene of a serious crash in New Plymouth this afternoon despite it being a fantasticly warm and bright day.
The crash occured at around 3pm involving a scooter and a vehicle in the suburb of Hurdon near main suburb Westown.
The crash occured at the intersection between Cowling Road and Davies Road.
Our infonews.co.nz reporter Michael Riley said it didnt look good. "It looks like a scooter occupant has fallen off on a steep corner at the end of Cowling Road, doesnt look good."
Delays were possible and detours were in place, however since the area was cleaned up these detours have been cancelled and traffic is flowing normally down Cowling Road.
The occupants of all involved have been taken to Taranaki Base Hospital by ambulance.
Police attended the scene to investigate but have since left.
