Sails Motor Inn in Hamilton has embraced the Social Giving philosophy by sponsoring the Ngaruawahia Golf Course.
“We are proud to be sponsors of Ngaruawahia Golf Course. It is a great golf course located close to Hamilton,” says Sails Motor Inn owner Ian Morgan.
“Sails have come on board as a sponsor for our Mixed 72 Hole Foursomes tournament which we run on the Saturday & Sunday of Labour weekend,” says Lyn MacRury, manager of Ngaruawahia Golf Course.
Ngaruawahia Golf Course sits on the banks of the beautiful Waikato River. The course is a quick 10 minutes’ drive north of Hamilton and an hour’s drive south of central Auckland along State Highway 1.
“We used to get 6 groups with 16 couples back in the day but manage now to get 4 or 5 so it is still a very popular tournament. This is our 33rd year and we are one of the few surviving 72 Hole Mixed Tournaments.”
“We are really thrilled to have Sails involved and I have emailed the past entrants to tell them that Sails will give them a deal so hopefully some will take advantage of it,” says Lyn MacRury.
