A severe weather warning which involved gusts of up to 150km/h has been published at metservice.com and meterologists believe that the windy weather wont stop until this afternoon.

For now New Plymouth residents are being warned to stay indoors as much as they can, keep your animals inside, and tie everything up that moves easily.
