Love is in the... Lover's Lava Cake!

New Zealand’s largest pizza makers, Domino’s Pizza, are spreading the love this Valentine’s Day, bringing back their popular Lover’s Lava Cake just in time for the most romantic day of the year!

The Lover’s Lava Cake is deliciously devilish – a heart shaped twist on the Domino’s iconic Choc Lava Cake dessert. It’s a scrumptious mix between a brownie and chocolate pudding, with a soft cake outside and a luscious, gooey middle that oozes with decadent chocolate.

Domino’s Group Head Development Chef, Stefaan Codron, said the Lover’s Lava Cakes were added to the menu especially for Valentine’s Day. 

“The Lover’s Lava Cake is set to be the ultimate indulgent treat for lovers this Valentine’s Day,” Stefaan said.

“At only $3.99, it’s the perfect way to show someone you care, without breaking the bank.

“When we designed the Lover’s Lava Cake, we intended it to be an indulgent dessert that couples would enjoy together. It’s the ultimate romantic dessert – with rich, velvety cake and decadent oozing chocolate, how could anyone resist?”

The award winning Lava Cake is baked fresh in-store daily, with real Belgian chocolate. The Lover’s Lava Cake is available from all stores from Monday 10 February for one week only, until Sunday 16 February.
