A whole package of innovations and unique features – four of which are patent-protected – are the hallmarks of the new Kärcher ride-on vacuum sweeper KM 105/110 R. These include the hydraulic drive, optional crescent arc side brush which saves time during sweeping a curve, automatic adjustment of the roller brush located between the rear wheels, automatic TACT filter cleaning, the intelligent KIK operator system, ready access to technology and a new bivalent drive design. All this makes the state-of-the-art tools particularly efficient, user-friendly and economical.

The roller brush is positioned directly on the rear axle. This ensures ground contact at all times when operating on inclines or uneven surfaces. The sweeper starts automatically in a wear-resistant efficiency mode, which is perfectly adequate for routine cleaning. In all operating modes, a sensor-controlled electronic system adjusts the brush so it has the best possible ground contact before each trip. This ensures consistently good sweeping results with little wear. The larger roller diameter increases the extent of sweeping, resulting in very efficient waste collection.

The Kärcher TACT filter cleaning technology, which was originally developed for wet and dry vacuum cleaners, ensures a consistently high level of filtration. Two flat pleated filters are cleaned automatically every 15 seconds by a pulse of pressurised air, sending dirt back into the waste container.

The simple and safe operation of the new sweeper is based on the KIK system (Kärcher Intelligent Key) which allows operators, property managers and maintenance technicians to use a varying range of functions. All essential operator commands are selectable on a large rotary switch. The display shows information on the operating hours worked, upcoming maintenance intervals and the state of wear of the roller brush. Karchers continued investment in innovation ensures product development and evolution maintaining their dominance as the world’s leading cleaning technology manufacturer.
