Award-winning Gourmet Australian macadamia producer, Brookfarm, engage in Social Giving in New Zealand.

In an act of Social Giving, Byron Bay, New South Wales based Brookfarm in conjunction with celebrity chef Jimmy Boswell are coming together to spread awareness for Blue September.

Blue September is the Prostate Cancer Foundation’s national awareness campaign and is about getting the word out about prostate cancer

Jimmy Boswell, Brett McGregor (2010 Masterchef winner) and Belinda and Neanna (2014 My Kitchen Rules New Zealand winners) will provide a recipe each that has a blue theme. These recipes will be posted on the official Blue September Facebook page with a challenge for businesses and people to get involved in social giving.

The public will then vote on which recipe they like best by liking it on the Blue September Facebook page. Two people will be selected from people that have liked the winning recipe and will receive a selection of scrumptious Brookfarm products.

Jimmy Boswell has for many years had regular prostrate checks and is advocate for how important it is for men to be checked, it is the number one cancer killer of males in New Zealand.
