Argent Motor Lodge Takes Cleaning to a New Level

Hamilton’s award-winning Motel, Argent Motor Lodge, not only takes great care of their guests - they also take pride in their high standard of cleanliness. So much so, they’ve taken their cleaning to another level.
Leah Lindsay, Operations Manager of Argent Motor Lodge, says the staff at Argent have discovered a range of citrus-based cleaning products that are just what they’ve been looking for. The products are biodegradable, New Zealand made, and, of course, a very effective cleaner.
The product is called Xtreme Clean and is a concentrated antibacterial cleaning product. The Xtreme Clean range of products contains d-limonene, a renewables-based solvent derived from the skin of citrus fruit.
"When I found a product that is not only eco-friendly but even better, New Zealand made, I was very excited,” said Leah.
As well as d-linolene, Xtreme Clean also contains a blend of biodegradable surfactants, water softeners and builders and naturally derived antibacterial agents.
“Making the transition from the traditional alcohol and ammonia based cleaning products was not a hard decision,” says Leah. “We needed a product that not only cleans to an extremely high standard but is also kind on our cleaning ladies’ skin.
“Xtreme Clean can be used in our bathrooms, kitchens, floors and even our wooden furniture”, she says.
Argent Motor Lodge is rated TripAdvisor’s Number One motel in Hamilton. Testimonials and TripAdvisor reviews often point to the cleanliness of the rooms, alongside the friendliness of the staff, keeping them in the top spot.
Leah says staff and management at Argent are always aiming to maintain that high standard and if there’s ever an opportunity for improvement they’ll take it, as demonstrated by the introduction of Xtreme Clean as their cleaning product of choice.
