Ventura Inn & Suites Seals Itself in Hamilton's Heart
Last Thursday night at Hamilton’s Ventura Inn and Suites, friends were made, business ideas were born and new acquaintances were discovered when the hotel hosted a live-streamed networking event.
Phillip Quay was MC for the night and his team from MediaPA streamed the proceedings live on Facebook as events unfolded.
String trio Amoroso performed while guests arrived and enjoyed drinks and snacks, before being ushered into the Conference Room where Ventura staff member Hone welcomed the visitors with a karakia and waiata.
Guest speaker Chris Williams from King St Advertising then delivered an inspiring speech about the toils and snares of running a successful business.
Owner of Ventura Inn and Suites, Kenneth Mitchell, said he was delighted with the event, as it was just plain FUN and gave him an opportunity to introduce local agents to some of the changes and improvements that are underway.
Kenneth, who acquired Ventura Inn and Suites in March this year, has begun plans to upgrade the hotel, keeping with its long-standing reputation as attractive , affordable accommodation, while adding the kind of personal touch which has seen him succeed in previous undertakings in the accommodation industry.
“It is not only about the accommodation,” says Kenneth. “It’s about making a difference in the local Hamilton and wider Waikato community.”
Kenneth believes Hamilton and the Waikato region have excellent growth prospects within the tourism industry and the development of Ventura Inn and Suites will keep in step with, and add to, that growth.
