Two world-class netball teams are to battle it out on the court at Claudelands Arena in Hamilton. The Silver Ferns will take on South Africa’s SPAR Proteas as part of the inaugural International Netball Super Series to be hosted by New Zealand and Australia in August.

The netball super series will see the Silver Ferns open their season with a Vector Arena blockbuster against England on August 27. The series then heads to Hamilton where they will face South Africa's SPAR Proteas, before crossing the Tasman for the final match against the Australian Diamonds.
The four competing countries last contested a non-World Cup or Common Wealth Games event in 2012.
