There are not many combinations that go better together than wine and cheese.

 

The award-winning Paihia Beach Resort and Spa’s Provenir Restaurant will be hosting an exclusive wine and cheese evening on Saturday 27th August beginning at 8.30pm.

 

“Taste your way through six perfectly paired wine and cheeses from all over France

while our Head Chef Marcus Berndt and French wine expert Gwilim Evans from Maison Vauron will guide you through each wine and cheese, discussing the characteristics and regions of each,” says Kathleen Thomas who is the restaurant manager at Provenir

 

This limited seated event is not one to be missed with Provenir Restaurant pulling out all the stops to provide a great evening of delectable food with a divine touch of French inspiration.

 

With the restaurant having recently undergone a major renovation, Lyndsey Morrison, resort manager of Paihia Beach Resort & Spa, is keen to showcase the impressive new-look dining facility to the public.

 

“We are really happy with the new look and feel of the restaurant. This event gives us the chance to showcase it to everyone,” comments Lyndsey.

 

The evening will showcase a handpicked selection of wines and cheeses that meets the high standards of the Provenir team and that will be sure to delight the taste buds.

 

“Wine and cheese can form a perfect union when properly combined. The Provenir team have done extensive researching to find the right wine and cheese combinations,” adds Lyndsey.

 

 “We have limited space at 30 guests and bookings will be essential. If you’re looking to have a full night of dining then the restaurant is open for ala carte at 6pm with the last serving at 6.30pm. Bookings for dinner are essential” adds Kathleen. 

 

The beautiful poolside restaurant, Provenir, led by head chef Marcus Berndt, offers you a delightful mix of stunning ocean views and a fine dining expierence.
