In the heart of Takapuna last Thursday night, industry leaders came together to celebrate the launch of Ikoi Spa.

Ikoi Spa is a haven of relaxation tranquillity on Auckland’s North Shore.

The event was commenced by leading MC Phillip Quay of MediaPA and Ikoi Spa’s owner Michael Hu.

Michael Hu talked about his wonderful journey with Ikoi Spa and how they introduced the concept of the  Enzyme Spa to New Zealand at a time when New Zealanders are under more stress than ever with work and financial pressures and are embracing Eastern inspiration to help them relieve tension and anxiety.

CEO of Takapuna Beach Business Association Terry Tolt talked about the exciting developments that are happening in the Takapuna area and how Ikoi Spa is right in the midst of it.

In attendance was Infinisea’s Managing Director Rosemary Currie and International Sales Educator Renee Morey who spoke about the innovative advancement that leading marine skin products, Thalgo, has made.

Speaking on behalf Sothys was Jean-Michel Tallott, Sothys Group Brand Director which was followed up by an interesting presentation by Vanessa Feehan, Sothys Educator, sponsor by de Spa Cosmectics.

Guests got to sample a number of relaxing services offered by the experts at ikoi spa, including their famous enzyme spa. Event guest immersed their feet in a blend of rice bran, pinewood sawdust and enzymes sourced from organic fruits, vegetables, mushrooms and seaweeds grown in Japan and combined in a special fermentation process. This was then followed up by a specialised enzyme drink.

Guests also got to sample a little bit of indulgence with a Hand Exfoliation and Massage, Reflexology, Skin Consultation with Thalgo and Sothys. All guests left with a smile and feeling great.

Located on Huron Street in Takapun, the Ikoi Spa features a number of beauty treatments for the face and body and is home to New Zealand’s only enzyme spa. Ikoi Spa also offer massages and facials to help clients blissfully unwind. A large variety of treatments mean that clients will find exactly what they are looking for every time.
