Since 2001 award-winning Gaylene Lonergan, from Hamilton, has been painting professionally and exhibiting quality original art work on silk.

Gaylene’s innovative art is painted uniquely on silk and mounted and framed behind glass. “I have an excellent framer who is a perfectionist and I have an upholsterer who stitches the silk onto the backing board once painted,” adds Gaylene.
