LED Downlights have become the new standard of lighting. Modern designers are moving away from traditional Halogen, Incandescent & Fluorescent recessed lighting, towards a trend for aesthetically pleasing LED downlighting.
Voltex Electrical has an attractive range of downlights which are easy to install, very cost effective to run and have dimming and switching options, allowing home owners to control energy efficiency and increase the performance of lighting in bedrooms, bathrooms, sitting and dining rooms, even the laundry, of their home or rental.
Marketing Manager for Voltex Electrical, Douglas Waite, says Voltex’s range of downlights will suit every home, whether it’s for an existing home or a new build.
“The Adaptor flanges are ideal for retrofit jobs,” says Mr Waite. “They cover up old holes from existing lights without the need for an expensive paint and plaster job.”
Voltex Electrical has developed a robust and reliable family of LED recessed downlights, which have become some of the most popular and sought-after ranges of LED lights on the New Zealand market.
Two of Voltex’s popular downlights, the Barcelona and the Le Mans, require a standard 92mm cutout, making it easy and convenient in a new install or as a direct replacement.
The 13W Barcelona is a metal framed, fully dimmable downlight with a low profile and a recessed diffuser lens for even spread of light over a wide angle.
The fully dimmable 9W Le Mans recessed LED Downlight is an alternative to the Barcelona light when a slightly lower output is required.
A third option is the Madrid 9W LED fixed downlight, which requires a 70mm cutout.
“Whatever house type or style, we have a downlight to suit a wide range of applications,” says Douglas Waite. “Our downlights are currently available in White and silver and we are soon to add brushed chrome to the range.
“Our lights can come as either a fixed or tilting model. The tilting version is ideal for sloping or angled ceiling,” he says.
Of course, both the light and the driver are covered by Voltex’s seven-year Warranty.
