Keltic Fair:

Start the year off with a bang at the Keltic Fair. Held on January 2 right in the heart of the Coromandel, it is one of New Zealand’s most successful fairs. It is a real highlight of the holiday season. Upon attendance over 300 stalls can be expected including arts and crafts, food and general entertainment. Crowds of around 15,000 are expected at the big day – not one to miss!

Thames Goldrush Market:

The next stop on the calendar is January 10 at the Thames Goldrush Market. The day includes multiple stalls from local businesses and visitors. Kids are always kept occupied for the day with a number of amusements and great food available. Not far from Chartré Manor at all, this one cannot be missed.

Thames Heritage Festival:

The Thames Heritage Festival runs from March 11 to 19 and is the perfect time to be in the area. Thames boasts a rich history and this festival is a celebration of the town and the people within.
