B-K's Motor Lodge of Hamilton has tickets to The New Zealand Festival of Motor Racing held at Hampton Downs

B-K’s Hamilton Motel, based on Tawa Street in Hamilton, has acquired two tickets to the renowned New Zealand Festival of Motor Racing, held annually at Hampton Downs since 2010.
B-K’s owner Jackie Bates is excited to give fans the opportunity to attend, saying “it is a very prestigious event and something every fan has on their calendar. For our motel to be able to provide two people the opportunity to go with such a valuable package is a great feeling.”
The event runs from January 20-22, and typically is a tribute to a legend of the motor racing scene. This year’s event promises to be no different, with Kenny Smith’s career being celebrated at this edition. Smith, 74, has had a decorated career behind the wheel and has won a coveted Gold Star drivers award five times. Incredibly, Kenny is still racing and 2017 marks season 59 of his racing career.
The package offered by B-K’s includes a pass for two to one day of the iconic event. Further to this, accommodation in a one bedroom aparment is also provided by the motel, making for a full day of free action at an event which is on the list of all motor sport fans across not only New Zealand, but the world over.
Jackie says “just being able to go to Hampton Downs itself is a great experience, let alone for the New Zealand Festival of Motor Racing.” It is clear that the winners of this competition are in for a once-in-a-lifetime trip.
The winner of the competition will be drawn on December 21, and can be entered via the B-K’s Hamilton Facebook page. By simply liking the post and tagging one friend to take to the festival, the competition has been entered. Participants can also share the post for an extra entry.
