In figures just released, the median price across the region raised $81,000 compared to May 2016. Compared to April the median price eased by $2,000, with prices rising 19% in Waikato District.

Sales volumes compared to April rose 34%. Compared to May 2016 sales across the region fell 19%.

The number of days to sell eased by four days compared to April, from 37 days in April to 41 days in May. The number of days to sell eased by 11 days compared to May 2016. Over the past 10 years the average number of days to sell during May for Waikato has been 52 days.
