NEXT WEEK, My Box will begin an exciting promotion, when they bring the My Box product to Hamilton’s Chartwell shopping centre, first public promotion in New Zealand. This comes right on the heels of Sky TV boss saying the company is “suffering” and is losing satellite subscribers at an alarming rate.

My Box is still the only company in the world who has gone legal with cable TV giant Sky TV and WON! Whether it’s rugby, boxing, cricket, or just watching the latest movie and TV shows, My Box has it all.

My Box owner Krish Reddy, has recently talked about how Sky TV has been “Taking advantage of the New Zealand public” and that Sky TV has “traditionally been the way of receiving quality cable viewing”, even with monthly subscriptions which increasingly more New Zealanders are beginning to find woefully overpriced.

“The Chartwell promotion of My Box is for people who cannot believe our ridiculously cheap price, and need to see it and have a play around with it for themselves,” Says Krish.

A streaming device with no extra payments for any sports matches, pay per views, or newly released movies, My Box is applicable anywhere in the world and requires only the use of internet.

With plans to expand the in-store promotions to every mall in New Zealand and Australia, Krish has sights firmly set on taking the fight to Sky TV in order to offer affordable viewing services.

“We openly challenge Sky, and we stand by our product,” explains Krish when asked about his view on Sky TV’s recent media troubles and drastic fall of subscribers. “We are building a huge database, and we want the public to come and see us at these promotions and believe the value of our product for themselves.”

If you are interested from making the change from Sky TV like the 34,000 people have in the last year, be sure to check out My Box and their stall on the ground floor of Chartwell shopping centre next week, starting August 28.

About My Box:

My Box was started as a hobby in Matamata, New Zealand, where owner Krish Von Roy Reddy was toying around with the idea of streaming channels. From this experiment the My Box product was founded. After talking with friends, Krish realised that the concept of My Box had the ability to be launched worldwide and now this process has happened. Since then My Box has become the sixth business that Krish has run and demonstrated the business acumen that he has developed. Krish is an advocate of giving back to the community (social giving). Each of his businesses reach out to those in need in the community and give back. Krish has travelled worldwide in his pursuit of social giving and has become a world leader in this area of community support.
