DESPARATION MODE for Sky TV in the past couple of weeks has seen the cable television powerhouse offer unsubscribing customers 50 percent off their monthly subscriptions, when they have called to unsubscribe.

This alarming tactic by Sky TV to retain subscribers has come on the heels of reports that Sky TV has been flooded with over 34,000 satellite subscribers unsubscribing in the last 12 months.

Often kept by New Zealand families for the sports channels and the latest television shows that are impossible to find anywhere else for the same quality; Sky TV has been able to justify their steep pricing for years.

However, there is a solution.

My Box is the box and streaming device that allows you to view all the latest sports, series, and movies for the same quality of Sky TV, for a one-off affordable cost.

My Box is still the only company in the world who has gone legal with cable TV giant Sky TV and WON!

The topic of unsubscribing Sky TV customers contributed to a segment on the Newstalk ZB radio station (97.0 FM) last week. Multiple people called up and expressed their latest frustrations with Sky TV when trying to unsubscribe, where they were offered a ridiculous discount; having their subscriptions literally cut in half.

The obvious replacement for your household viewing, is My Box.

My Box offers a streaming device with no extra payments for any sports matches, pay per views, or newly released movies, My Box is applicable anywhere in the world and requires only the use of internet.

With free installation and no monthly subscriptions, boasting all the quality and services of ‘Budget Buster ’Sky TV, it makes sense why people are making the switch at an exponential rate.

With plans to expand the in-store promotions to every mall in New Zealand and Australia, be sure to go and check out My Box. Operating almost exclusively through online sales, the in-store promotions are “for people who cannot believe our ridiculously cheap price, and need to see it and have a play around with it for themselves,” says owner Krish Reddy.

If you are interested from making the change from Sky TV like the 34,000 people have in the last year, the My Box stall will be on the ground floor of Chartwell shopping centre this week, starting August 28.

About My Box:

My Box was started as a hobby in Matamata, New Zealand, where owner Krish Von Roy Reddy was toying around with the idea of streaming channels. From this experiment the My Box product was founded. After talking with friends, Krish realised that the concept of My Box had the ability to be launched worldwide and now this process has happened. Since then My Box has become the sixth business that Krish has run and demonstrated the business acumen that he has developed. Krish is an advocate of giving back to the community (social giving). Each of his businesses reach out to those in need in the community and give back. Krish has travelled worldwide in his pursuit of social giving and has become a world leader in this area of community support.
