Tribute Book Available For Sir Edmund Hillary

The council is to provide a tribute book for Tararua residents to record their condolences to the family of Sir Edmund Hillary.


The book will be available at service centres and libraries from tomorrow (Thursday) until the end of next week.


Tararua wished to join with other local bodies in offering its citizens the chance to remember Sir Edmund in their own way, said mayor Maureen Reynolds.


“I am sure many people will take advantage of the opportunity.”
