Vero Award finalist
The University of Otago has been selected as a finalist in the Vero Excellence in Business Support Awards 2008.
The application was drafted and submitted by Dunedin City Chair in Entrepreneurship Professor Brendan Gray, as an opportunity to highlight the links between the University, City Council and the wider Dunedin business community. The awards will be announced in April.
The awards are designed to recognise all the organisations and individuals that provide quality services and products to small-to-medium sized businesses, which make up 96 per cent of all New Zealand’s business entities.
Finalists were chosen by the New Zealand Business Excellence Foundation and come from the private, not-for-profit, and government sectors. In total, 48 finalists have been named in 11 award categories.
