Incident Type: 2 people with major burns
Two people arrived at Wellsford Medical Centre, with major burns to their bodies, at about 1030hrs this morning. Police enquiries are continuing as to how the burns were sustained. The two people were airlifted to Middlemore Hospital and the Fire Service were called to decontaminate the Wellsford Medical Centre. Both patients are in a critical condition at Middlemore Hospital.
