Emergency services are currently attending an incident near Otira in Westland where it is believed that a 4wd vehicle has collided with a bank before rolling onto a train track where it then collided with a train.
There were four occupants in the four wheel drive at the time of the collision. One occupant was uninjured and the other three are being treated for a variety of injuries.
