2008 Community Directory Published

Council’s 2008 Community Group Directory has been published and sent to all the groups and organisations that are listed in it.



The updated Directory provides details of over 330 volunteer organisations and clubs in the Waitaki District. This is 30 more than the 2007 directory.



Personal Assistant to Council’s Community Services Group Manager, Erica Andrews, is pleased with the interest shown in the directory. "The Directory is a valuable tool for many groups in the community and feedback received from a number of residents in our area indicates the Directory has been useful for introducing them to new people and organisations in the district".



Any group that is not currently listed is encouraged to contact Council for a form if they want to be included in the next edition, or download a copy from Council’s website, www.waitaki.govt.nz .
