Drought continues: water conservation required

Waikato is still in serious drought conditions.



Lake Taupo services far more than just supplying water to the Taupo District so we all need to be wise about our water use.



The District’s current water use is still high. To reduce your water use, consider attaching a timer to your watering system. If you already have one installed make sure it’s set to water for 20 minutes twice a week. This is all your garden and lawn needs to stay healthy.
