Hamilton 400 circuit roads to close tonight

From midnight Wednesday 16 April [tonight] all roads that form the Hamilton 400 V8 race circuit will be completely closed to all vehicles until 6am Monday 21 April.

This includes the appropriate sections of Mill Street, Tristram Street, Norton Road, King Street, High Street, Empire Street, Lake Road and Hall Street.

All vehicles that residents and occupiers want to be able to use over the race event weekend should not be parked inside property access ways that will be blocked by the concrete barrier blocks and fencing. Any vehicles that are still parked there after midnight tonight will not be able to be moved until 6am Monday 21 April.

Also vehicles should not be parked on the circuit itself from midnight on Wednesday. Cars left on the circuit roads after midnight tonight will be moved to the railway storage yards at the corner of Empire and High streets.
