Auckland businesses seeking to invigorate their activities should look no further than the Auckland Chamber of Commerce’s cornerstone event, Business Club.

On Tuesday 13th May Business Club returns with a bang, ready as always to help support local businesses in their growth.

Michael Barnett, Auckland Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive, says Business Club is a ‘must-attend’ event.

‘Business Club is one of the jewels in the Chamber events crown. It’s an extraordinary opportunity for business people to network and it costs nothing to attend. Any business leader interested in meeting new clients or suppliers will benefit from the event.’

Barnett says that in the current economic climate businesses should leverage the opportunity to promote their businesses to others for free by taking advantage of such networking events.

For over eight years Business Club has provided a unique opportunity for business people to connect with other businesses over drinks and nibbles in a relaxed setting.

On top of fabulous networking, the event also aims to inspire attendees with guest speakers chosen for their motivational business success stories. They include entrepreneurs who have faced challenges, overcome adversity and excelled in their commercial ventures. Past speakers include Lisa Er, founder of Lisa’s Hummus, Mike Pero, founder of Mike Pero Mortgages and Mike Mayell, founder of the Cookie Time Cookie.

Barnett says the chance to hear from some of New Zealand’s leading businesspeople is another compelling factor.
