Injured man in stable condition
The 26 year old man who was assaulted at a New Brighton party this morning is out of surgery and reported to be in a stable condition.
Inquiries are continuing and police have spoken to most people who were at the party but anyone who has not come forward is asked to contact police.
Keyes Rd is still closed but expected to reopen around 5-6pm today.
