New Group Manager Corporate Services will bring a new set of skills and experience to Council management

Franklin CEO, Sally Davis has great pleasure in announcing that Sue O’Gorman has been appointed Group Manager Corporate Services at Franklin District Council and will take up her new role on 7 July.

Sally says, “Sue joins us from the ARC where her current role is Group Manager Technology and Operations. She has also worked in roles involving Business Excellence and Local Government planning. The skills and experience that Sue will bring to Franklin will complement the team we now have on board, and I am confident that she will be a valuable asset to Franklin District Council.”

When she accepted the position Sue commented, “I am excited about the opportunity to have a leadership role where I can contribute to the development of Franklin District Council’s organisational culture and business improvement processes. The breadth and variety of this new role is both exciting and challenging and I can’t wait to get started.”
