Leuchs podiums at World Cup
Kashi Leuchs in top form
The second round of the Nissan-UCI Mountain Bike cross country World Cup was held over the weekend in Offenburg, Germany. NZ's top cross country racers were in attendance with Dunedin’s Kashi Leuchs continuing his awesome form with a huge podium result - 5th and only 3.5 minutes behind the winner Julien Absalon (France), the current World and Olympic Champion! This result puts Kashi at 5th place on the overall World Cup standings, after an 8th at the first XCO round at Houffalize in Belgium.
In the same field, Marcus Roy came in 92nd, and Clinton Avery 159th.
