Three seartch warrants were executed by Police in the Greater Auckland area this morning; one at Patumahoe, one at SouthHead, and one on Brentwood Ave., Mt Eden, a Hells Angels gang address.
The Armed Offenders Squad was used at the Mt Eden & Patumahoe addresses and deployed distraction devices in Mt Eden, and teargas in Patumahoe.
Two men have been taken into custody: a 44yr old and 47 year old. They are likely to appear in the Auckland District Court today to face a charge of Threatening to cause Grevious Bodily Harm, relating to an incident on 17 May 2007.
At this stage no firearms have been recovered from any of the properties, though the search of the Mt Eden property is only just underway.
