Tim Southee has a sprained right ankle and will miss the one-day cricket match against Worcester beginning tomorrow (UK time).

Southee injured his ankle during fielding practice in Nottingham yesterday, but an MRI scan in London today cleared him of serious injury.

While his injury is already improving he is a doubtful starter for the Twenty/20 match against England at Old Trafford, Manchester, on Friday.

The team for the match against Worcester is:

Dan Vettori (captain)
Jamie How
Brendon McCullum
Peter Fulton
Ross Taylor
Scott Styris
Daniel Flynn
Jacob Oram
Jeetan Patel
Mark Gillespie
Michael Mason.
